Our Māori Advisory Committee, Ngā Kaihautū Tikanga Taiao, provides advice to the EPA to ensure Māori perspectives are taken into account.
COVID-19 Level 2 Update (15 May): We continue to work and to follow a plan to keep disruption to a minimum, while also keeping our staff and the public safe. More details
Ngā Kaihautū is a statutory (legally mandated) group appointed by the EPA Board.
It has up to eight members, but no fewer than four. Members provide a broad overview of Māori interests and perspectives, rather than representing their individual iwi.
