Small wasp to tackle giant willow aphid
The application to release a small parasitic wasp into New Zealand will be heard on 24 October 2019.
After evaluating and reviewing written submissions, we consider that a hearing is necessary to determine this application to import and release of the parasitoid wasp, Pauesia nigrovaria, as a biological control agent for the pest, the giant willow aphid (Tuberolachnus salignus).
The hearing will be held at Area Event Centre, 1 O'Reilly Ave, Wellington on 24 October 2019, starting at 9.30am. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
