Safe Work Instruments
Two draft Safe Work Instruments set out controls proposed by WorkSafe for EDN.
They are the:
- draft Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances—Requirements for Specified Fumigants) Amendment Safe Work Instrument 2021 (PDF 270KB)
- draft Health and Safety at Work (General Risk and Workplace Management—Exposure and Health Monitoring Requirements for Ethanedinitrile) Safe Work Instrument 2021 (PDF, 231KB).
They are approved in principle, but in order to take effect they require final approval from the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety, and notification in the New Zealand Gazette. WorkSafe will consider the decision and determine next steps.
