On 25 March 2020 CRL withdrew its application for a marine dumping consent.
Read the minute of the Decision-Making Committee (DMC) advising parties that CRL have withdrawn the application and that the DMC will therefore not be undertaking any further work to reconsider the application.
Reconsideration of the CRL marine dumping consent - 17 February 2020
The DMC met on 11 February 2020 to reconsider the Ngā Kaihautū Tikanga Taiao (NKTT) Report.
The scope of the reconsideration is limited to the matters raised in the NKTT report.
The DMC has requested that we review the submissions from iwi authorities and groups who may be affected by the application in light of the NKTT advice, and identify the information gaps and who may be the best person/entity to obtain that information from. The DMC will meet again on 25 March 2020 to consider the information from us and determine the next steps.
Notification to reconsider the CRL marine dumping consent - 5 February 2020
The DMC will reconvene on 11 February 2020 to reconsider the Ngā Kaihautū Tikanga Taiao report and next steps. The DMC will then issue a minute setting out the process going forward and any directions necessary.
