At any time before the Expert Consenting Panel issues its final decision on the Wooing Tree Estate application, the Panel can commission reports under clause 25(1)(b) Schedule 6 of the Act.
On 9 August 2021 the Wooing Tree Estate Expert Consenting Panel issued Minute 6 advising of the appointment of a special adviser to provide independent legal advice to the Panel.
On 22 September 2021, legal adviser Matthew Allan provided advice on what procedural requirements there are to amend an application. This advice was followed on 23 September by advice responding to the applicant's legal submissions provided in response to Minute 10 and 11.
Legal adviser Matthew Allan has provided further advice regarding potential jurisdictional issues arising out of the project scope specified in the Minister’s referral order.
On 30 July 2021, the EPA received advice from Matthew Allan, who was appointed as a Special Adviser to the Panel. The advice was in relation to the Applicant's response to the further information request 1, provided on 5 July 2021, in relation to the Cromwell Spatial Framework and the National Policy Statement on Urban Development 2020.
