On 31 May 2021, the Northbrook Wanaka Retirement Village Expert Consenting Panel issued Minute 1 regarding the persons to be invited to comment on the application, and setting out the timeline for comments to be received by the EPA.
On 28 June 2021, the Northbrook Wanaka Retirement Village Expert Consenting Panel issued Minute 2 regarding the appointment of special advisers.
On 15 July 2021, the Panel released Minute 3 discussing their draft conditions and providing further detail of the draft conditions and alternate wording. This Minute should be read in conjunction with the draft conditions.
On 19 July 2021, the Northbrook Wanaka Retirement Village Expert Consenting Panel issued Minute 4 extending the timeframes for comments on draft conditions and the timeframe for when the panel must issue its decision.
On 16 July 2021, the Panel received correspondence from Te Arawhiti: The Office for Māori Crown Relations requesting an extension to the timeframe comments on the draft conditions must be received by the EPA. As per Minute 4 above, the Panel granted this request, and extended the timeframe by 5 working days for all parties who had been invited to comment on the draft conditions.
