The expert consenting panel appointed to determine the Melia Place application has made its decision. Read the decision report and information on appeals.
On 13 July 2022 the Melia Place panel corrected the conditions of consent and appendix 2 to the decision. These conditions and appendix 2 supersede and replace the versions in the decision of the panel issued on 14 June 2022.
On 14 June 2022 the Melia Place panel granted, subject to conditions, resource consents to Melia Development Limited.
The expert consenting panel’s decision can be appealed to the High Court in whole or in part on questions of law only.
Any of the following may appeal:
A notice of appeal must be filed with the Registrar of the High Court within 15 working days after the date the person is notified of the expert consenting panel’s decision. A copy of the notice of appeal must also be served on the EPA.
