On 19 November 2021, Melia Development Ltd, lodged an application for land-use consent and subdivision consent for the subdivision and development of a 1.826 hectare site to provide approximately 59 residential lots and additional private lots for access, community and open space purposes.
This includes the construction a multi-use community building and supporting infrastructure including three waters services and roads at 20 Melia Place and 43A Vipond Road, Stanmore Bay, Whangaparāoa, Auckland.
On 26 November 2021, the EPA determined that the application complied with the requirements set out in clause 3, Schedule 6 of the Act, and can be provided to a panel to determine the application.
