At any time before the expert consenting panel issues its final decision on the Papakura to Pukekohe rail electrification resource consent application, it can request further information under clause 25(1)(a) Schedule 6 of the Act.
The expert consenting panel directed the EPA to request information from the applicant regarding ecological offsets. This information must be provided to the EPA by 10 June 2021.

On 5 July 2021, the EPA received advice from Ian Gordon, who was appointed as a Special Adviser to the Panel. The advice is in relation to the procedural matters arising from the submission of new applications by the applicant.
