On 10 December 2021, the Expert Consenting Panel issued an amended decision report making minor corrections to the decision and to Waka Kotahi resource consents and notices of requirements for Stage 1B1 of the Papakaura to Drury South State Highway 1 improvements. Corrections have been made to various conditions of consent and the notices of requirement.
The Panel issued Minute 9 recording its decision on the request for corrections from Waka Kotahi and other corrections made by the Panel.
The amended version of the decision including corrected resource consents and notices of requirement replaces the original version dated 12 November 2021.

The Expert Consenting Panel appointed to determine Stage 1B1 of the Papakura to Drury South State Highway 1 improvements has completed its consideration of the applications and notices of requirement and has made its final decision.
On 12 November 2021 the Panel granted resource consents, subject to conditions, and confirmed two notices of requirement subject to conditions to Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency.
The Panel also granted resource consent subject to conditions, to Transpower New Zealand Limited for transmission line works.

The Panel’s decision can be appealed to the High Court in whole or in part on questions of law only.
Any of the following persons may appeal:
(a) the consent applicant or requiring authority, as the case requires
(b) any relevant local authority
(c) the Attorney-General
(d) any person or group that provided comments in response to an invitation given under clause 17(2)
(e) any person who has an interest in the decision appealed against that is greater than that of the general public.
A notice of appeal must be filed with the Registrar of the High Court within 15 working days after the date the person is notified of the Panel’s decision.
A copy of the notice of appeal must also be served on the EPA, by sending them to Papakuradrury.fasttrack@epa.govt.nz
