The Environmental Protection Authority has extended the deadline for submissions on an application to import the gas ethanedinitrile (EDN) for use as a fumigant for soil, grain, logs and timber.
EPA Applications Manager Dr Marie Bradley says the deadline has been extended in response to feedback from submitters and interested parties.
Submissions will now close on 19 March, 2012.
