List of completed Chief Executive reassessments

  • Azinphos-methyl (HRC07002) – approvals revoked
  • Endosulfan (HRC07003) – approvals revoked
  • Explosives (HRC08007) – Controlled Substance Licence requirement added
  • Hydrogen cyanamide (HRC05001) – new conditions added
  • LPG (HRC09001) – approved with controls
  • Methyl arsenic acid (HRC08006) – declined
  • Methyl bromide (HRC08002) – new conditions added 
  • Methyl parathion (HRC07005) – declined
  • Methylated spirits (HRC05002) – approved with controls
  • Pentachlorophenol (PCP) (HRC07004) – declined
  • Petrol (HRC07001) – to vary the approved handler control where quantities less than 2000 litres are stored on a farm of four hectares or more
  • Trichlorfon and its formulations (HRC08005) partially approved
  • Vertebrate toxic agents (HRC08001) – new control requiring notification of formulation changes added
  • Yearly chemical review 2009 (ERMA200067) – amending the classifications of existing approvals

  • Chlorpropham (ERMA200066) – to allow use as a single chemical
  • Distance Ant Bait & Engage Ant Bait (HRE07001) – to allow aerial application
  • DuPont Coragen Insecticide (ERMA200463) – to increase the maximum application rate
  • DuPont Altacor Insecticide (ERMA200493) – to increase the maximum application rate
  • Ethaneperoxoic acid (HRE08001) – to allow use as a fungicide
  • LPG (initiated by the LPG Association) (HRE09001) – approved with controls
  • Oberon (ERMA200492) – to allow use in field crops
  • Petrol/ethanol blends (HRE06001) – to allow storage in tanks without secondary containment
  • Sumi-alpha (ERMA200094) – to add flammability classification
