Burners

A burner is a device which burns liquid fuel. The fuel (commonly fuel oil, diesel or home heating oil) is typically atomised into a fine spray by forcing it under pressure through a nozzle. This spray is ignited together with air that is forced through by an electric fan. Other methods such as vaporising the oil on a hot plate are also applicable.

Common applications for burners include boilers, domestic heating and industrial heating.
