Anyone can ask the Authority to make a formal (statutory) determination as to whether a substance is hazardous or not.
The determination is published in the Gazette and recorded on our HSNO Applications Register.
Advice on existing approvals
Advice on whether the substance is covered by an existing approval is not included. For this you need to request a status of substance.
