Reassessment of organophosphate and carbamate insecticides​

Many pesticides currently used on crops in New Zealand have been removed for sale in other countries. We are assessing the current risks and benefits of continuing to use organophosphate and carbamate plant protection pesticides in New Zealand.The substances that you are using to treat crops such as Kamokamo, Kūmara, Maize, Potatoes, and pasture may be affected by this reassessment.​ If you would like to provide feedback about the reassessment, download the following information sheet and response form.

Upcoming events for the Māori National Network

Māori Environmental Management Hui, 1, 2, 3 August 2012

Takapuwahia Marae / Te Rauparaha Arena, Porirua

This hui will provide a forum for the Network to interact with the EPA, other government groups and local iwi to discuss current environment matters.
