Every year we monitor and report on the effectiveness of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms (HSNO) Act.
We compile and report data on incidents involving hazardous substances and new organisms. The HSNO Act allows us to conduct inquiries into any incident.
We also monitor and report annually on the HSNO Act's effectiveness, on the aerial use of the vertebrate poison 1080, and on methyl bromide fumigations.
