The following fees and charges for new organism’s applications are effective from 1 October 2010. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST.
The application fees vary depending on whether an application is publicly notified or not and the length of time it takes to process. Some fees are negotiable. This is because there have been too few instances of that application type to establish a history of costs. Negotiated fees include disbursements.
Disbursements include public notification, hearing costs (if a hearing is required) and costs incurred from engaging consultants. Applications are usually notified in the four main newspapers. We can provide you with an estimate of these costs.
