Once you have applied for the job
Shortlisted candidates are invited to attend an interview. You may also be asked to undergo activities such as written exercises, oral presentations and aptitude testing.
The interview
Our behavioural-based interviews are conducted by three panel members.
If you are asked to attend an interview with us, you will be asked to provide examples of situations or events you were involved in. The examples should relate to the competencies of the role you have applied for.
A shortlist of applicants is made within ten working days of the closing date of the vacancy.

"Tell me about a time when you had a complex problem to solve. What was the problem and how did you go about solving it?"
Answering behavioural questions
When answering a behavioural-based question, use the STAR method below to guide your answer:
- Situation: Describe a situation or problem that you have encountered.
- Task: Describe the task that the situation required or your ideas for resolving the problem.
- Action: Describe the action you have taken and obstacles that you had to overcome.
- Results: Highlight outcomes you achieved.
Following the interview
We will provide you with feedback on the interview as soon as possible. Reference checks are completed prior to any appointment being made. Probity and/or security checks may also be required for certain positions.
Offer of appointment
The preferred candidate will be sent an offer of appointment and an induction pack.
