Water Conservation Order: Ngaruroro and Clive Rivers

WCO: Ngaruroro and Clive Rigers

Five parties have made an application for a water conservation order for the Ngaruroro and Clive rivers.

The Environmental Protection Authority is managing the application process, and will support the Special Tribunal that has been set up to consider and report on this application.

Key dates coming up

Technical evidence on the Upper Ngaruroro River is due at the following dates:

  •  Submitter evidence - by 2pm, 27 October 2017.

The Stage 1 (Upper Ngaruroro River) Hearing will begin on 14 November 2017. Parties wishing to speak at this hearing need to confirm their attendance with the EPA by 2pm, 1 November 2017.
