Ngaruroro and Clive rivers water conservation order: Submissions and notification

Five parties have made an application for a water conservation order for the Ngaruroro and Clive rivers. The Environmental Protection Authority is managing the application process, and will support the Special Tribunal that has been set up to consider and report on this application. This page contains information on making submissions and about notification

Make a submission

Submissions on the application open on 24 July 2017 and close at 4pm on 24 August 2017.

Any person may make a submission on this application. Submissions must be made on the prescribed form.

The EPA publicly notified the application for a Water Conservation Order for Ngaruroro and Clive rivers on Monday, 24 July 2017.

  • The public notice will be published in the New Zealand Herald, Dominion Post, Christchurch Press and the Otago Daily Times on Wednesday 26 July 2017.
  • The public notice will be published in the Central Hawkes Bay Mail, Hawkes Bay Today and Taupo Times on Tuesday, 25 July 2017; Napier Mail and Hastings Mail on Wednesday 26 July 2017; and Fielding-Rangitikei Herald on Thursday 28 July 2017.
